What about software names? Eudora, Fedora, Linux? Don’t they sound like cool baby names?

Hello, i have a very low end machine that i would like to bring back to life. Its 1.1 ghz Pentium 4, 512 mb ddr ram, Radeon 9000 series. I am planning to buy more ram for the computer, but in the meanwhile i would like to know whether decreasing the screen resolution would increase the speed of the computer?

I am wondering why someone would bother to make a computer virus. It is possible I am wondering this because I have no idea what viruses really do, so let me explain. I have always been under the impression that a computer virus is a program that someone designed to attack and harm a computer, but without any other real purpose. If that is what they are for, what is the point? Why would someone sit around and design something that damages something without getting any money or anything out of it? Or maybe viruses aren’t really designed to be bad? Just bad programming?

My current computer is pretty crappy, and I am planning on saving up for a new one.

It’ll mainly be used for gaming, so I’m wondering how much would a computer cost that can easily run games such as fallout 3 with the graphics at least as good as the console versions?
