In a form there are 3 text boxes – assetid, quantity, amount. When i enter 3 in the quantity and click a save button, assetid should auto increment from com1 to com2,com3,com4 consecutively in access database column and at the same time the amount should be divided equally among the 3 assetid and saved in the database.

I just installed a .php script onto my web server and when I go to run the program, instead of the program running I get a pop up window wanting to save the file on my hard drive. I re-uploaded the files to make sure everything was done correctly, but I still get the error message.
Can someone please help me out – I really need to run this program.
Thanks in advance.

I’d like to create a simple form in PHP where the user enters a little bit of information, which gets saved to an XML file on the server. This XML file should then be able to have the data in it read by PHP and manipulated… How would I do this?

I have to insert records from the textboxes into a database using a SAVE button. Then using a id I’l be retrieving the data when clicking a retrieve button. Then I’l be modifying the records and update it into the database using the same SAVE button. The problem for me is using the same SAVE button for both inserting and updating.

Recently I created a program using Borland Delphi on a duel screen setup, I sent it to someone to test run it and it kept starting up off screen, where the other screen would be. now I always thought the OS remembered where the window was last opened but this would seem to contradict that. I’m just wondering where the position of the window is actually saved, the compiler, the application or the OS or something else entirely? Nothing important just curious.

I have the login working, but I tried to add another field for when a user registers for a login. It doesn’t seem like it is saving the new field to the SQL database. Also, how do I call back the information in that field for the logged in user so I can use it on the page?
I’m using VB .NET, by the way

I’m wondering what those filter like plug things called.
Ones that you can save your stuff on to and then when you plug it into someone else’s computer, you can drag the documents out and save it on their computer.
If you know what they are, how much would they cost and where can I get them?
Do they also have a certain amount to how much documents I can put in?
