I downloaded the AVG antiviral software but cannot open the file i downloaded (index.php) My computer does not reconize the right program to open it. What program do I need to open it, or what do I need to do to install the sofeware.

I hired a developer to create a program for me to scrape data from several sites into an Excel spreadsheet. Apparently, he wrote the program in Visual Basic 6 using IE automation. The program is VERY slow. And every time one of the websites makes a minor HTML change, the program needs to be updated.

Upon hearing this, another developer just shook his head and said it should have been writen using Borland Delphi 7, using Internet sockets.

All this is Greek to me.

In simple terms, what program is best at extracting data from websites? What should I be looking for in the development of such a script?

I really want to purchase software that will allow me to make animated short films. I don’t have animation experience, I’m not extremely computer savvy, and I don’t have much money. Does anybody know of a good-quality, easy-to-use, reasonably priced animation program? My computer is a Dell laptop Inspiron E1405, if that’s a factor. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi! I have a Genius Maxfire 12V, and I need to know how to make it vibrate in a programming language (preferably C++, C# or Delphi). Or, at least, could you tell me the API [or DirectX] message that Windows sends to the gamepad and makes it vibrate? If possible, I would like separate vibration for the left and right motors.
