Can you use PHP and Mysql with a Linux Live CD?

If you come back to Windows will all your PHP & Mysql settings gone? Do you have to reinstall everything again if you decide to use a second time the Linux Live CD?? I don’t want to install Linux permanently o0n my sustem but I would like to work with the Lice CD without losing my work & setings. Is it possible?

    You would need to make a partition so linux could store its data.

    You have to install the Linux versions of PHP and MySQL if you want them to run in the LLCD – and when you shut the computer (or reboot), it’s all gone. If you want to run Linux, and have it keep what you do without installing it to another partition, either use Virtual PC 2007 (free from Microsoft) or install Ubuntu to run in Windows (on the menu in the live CD).
